Harvest Fest
This fundraiser can be as simple or elaborate as you like. Take advantage of the fall harvest and Halloween season to have a Harvest Fest. Set up a sale of local produce that is in demand at that time of the year. Find a local farmer that you can purchase a large quantity of pumpkins from. You will want them in all sizes, from sugar (pie) pumpkins to large carving pumpkins perfect for jack o lanterns. If apples are also available locally, you may want to have those for sale as well. Set up a corn and hot dog roasting station. Have hot apple cider for sale. Let people express their creative side with a “paint your own pumpkin” station. If you want to have a big Harvest Fest, rent a bounce house, inflatable slide, and other activities. Bring in someone to give pony rides. Have a bake sale with items made with apples and pumpkins, such as pies, cookies, and muffins.
